Took a quick ride out to Morris Ave today to visit a good friend & “Uncle”

Some one was very excited to check out 44 Truck

She was ready to take it for a spin on The Concourse

When she got home she was so excited to tell Mommy her brothers and grandparents that she got to drive the big truck

Ray, that has been one of my well kept secrets for a long time. Not only that, but bring a little soap and get that old "b.o" off for a sweet perfume smell. Also saves on using your own hot water at home.

After Two years of being Commander for the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, District 1 - Southern Region, Division 11 - Rockaway Inlet Division, Retired FDNY Supervising Dispatcher Kenny Fisher, aka "Atlas", is giving up that position and turning it over to Vice Commander Richard Schnorr.

That ceremony will be taking place on Sunday July 19th at 2:00 pm. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, that will be the first virtual Change of Watch Ceremony for Coast Guard Auxiliary District 1, Division 11.

A few hrs ago Doug Marra "AUX WAR YEARS CPT" posted on another site that he was in the Hosp ER being evaluated for COPD & Kidney failure & was waiting to be sent to a room for further evaluation.....Please keep him in your Prayers.

Many of us here know Doug Marra, "Aux War Years Cap". Just last Thursday Doug was thanking The Boss for allowing him to go back to his former User Name here.

Doug is one of the guys who has a wealth of information when it comes to the apparatus of the FDNY.

Yes Doug, we will keep you in Our Prayers for a full recovery.

Thank you Chief JK for passing this info onto us.
