"ANSWER THE CALL" STEPS UP......

NYPD Officer Anastasio Tsakos

We were heartbroken to learn that another protector of our city made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. NYPD Officer Anastasio Tsakos was a 14 year veteran of the NYPD. He leaves behind a wife and two very young children under the age of 7. We, along with the rest of New York City, mourn the loss of this hero.

We offer our deepest condolences to Officer Tsakos' family, Highway Unit 3, and the entire NYPD community. We will never forget the tragic loss of Officer Tsakos and remain dedicated to supporting his family.

We will be providing immediate support of $25,000 to his widow and aim to provide annual financial assistance for the rest of her life.

Sincerely,
The Board of Directors and Staff of Answer the Call
