NYPD Strategic Response Groups still poised to be disbanded.

And then will he (the mayor) take responsibility when "it" hits the fan? Who or what will take the place of the SRG?
Likely a decoupling of DCU from SRG and SRG likely returns to being called the Borough Task Forces.

Something NEEDS to replace SRG, because otherwise the NYPDs component of the RTF is unfilled, and will result in well, no RTFs being setup in the event of an active shooter

The would probably fall back to the decades old mobilization levels. Which takes a lot more time to gather units from various precincts and assemble them. Problem is that most of the sector cars responding have very little training in crowd control and civil unrest and how many remembered to bring their helmets with them. Then there is the whole task of having members who have never worked together try and synch their actions doing something they have never done before.

NYPD still uses mobilization levels, and the borough task forces had filled the role of the SRGs before the SRGs replaced them.

When the BTFs still existed, a level 1 mobolization called for the local BTF, while a level 2 called for multiple BTFs from accross the city, which would be designated by the Operations Unit. A level 3 and level 4 would call for additional BTFs if available in addition borough precinct personnel and citywide precinct personnel respectively.

This is still the same setup today (only changes being certain special unit amounts), except instead of it being the borough task force its the respective boroughs SRG Command.

People who never served the city/country in uniform, have felony records and think socialism/communism is the way to go.
