Steve Whalen – Past – President
Steve was at the helm, but sadly passed on September 12th, 2022. Steve comes from a long line of firefighters and well-respected chief officers. He spent his career in Brooklyn, assigned to Ladder Company 105, one of the first Tower Ladders in the city. He retired in… Steve, an avid sailor, has literally “sailed the seven seas” and guides our ship on a steady course.

Sad to report that on 9-14-25 the 57th Anniversary of our Proby Class Appt. a Classmate Ed Yany Passed To A Higher Level.

On 9-14-25 at 81 yrs of age.....another Proby School Classmate Appt 9-14-68.

Edward Yany was appointed on September 14, 1968 and assigned to Ladder 111 from proby school.
He transferred to TCU 732 and retired from Ladder 11 on July 1, 1995.

REST IN PEACE BROTHER....
