PANYNJ LaGuardia ARFF Battalion Chief

This is more involved than the job description for President of the United States.
Agreed, that looks like a lot to handle! I’m surprised no specific minimal educational requirement such as a bachelor’s degree. I wonder if they have someone in mind who is a real crackerjack but not a college degree?

😊. In reality though it is about average in length and description for a position of this type. ARFF is quite a specialty requiring specific certifications and detailed working knowledge of FAA regulations, airport terminology, TSA regulations, and familiarity with FAA 139. I am curious what the pay range will be for this position

I know the BC position at Newark Airport went to a retired Elizabeth Fire Department Deputy Chief. That said he's a great guy and was the ARFF Captain at Teterboro for three years prior.
