I’m not sure where to post this so I’m putting it here. Admin: pls move it as necessary.

Does anyone use the Pulsepoint app?

If so, what are the pros and cons.

Thanks.

I do. It's a great buff's aid, in addition to being a real asset for notifying CPR qualified people for the need of CPR before the EMTs arrive. I follow my local FD for all alarms, and local area departments for working fires and other significant incidents. I also use it to analyze responses by the local FD. My local department runs 13 medic units, and it amazes me how often they are all out on a run. Not aware of any cons, unless the fact that it makes it easier for people like me to know exactly where incidents occur, and which units are assigned is a issue.

I can echo Raybrag’s comments. Most of the departments in central VA use it and it’s extremely good .
