I believe the has a temporary shop on Review Avenue in Long Island City. That 58 street place was a disaster waiting to happen. Bad foundation, etc. etc. from when Health & Hospitals Corp. had it. That building started life as a liquor warehouse.

I'm surprised they sailed it before they had a permanent location ready of course I have heard the old temp location going on for 20 years  for things like this !

That building was a disaster waiting to happen. If it was not owned by the city they probably would have issued a vacate for it.

They were looking to build a new place but then they took over the building DEP used on Review for the city to save money. I don't think it was supposed to be temporary.  They also have the lot there out the back of the building on Starr.  I was told they were still going to keep the lots over in Maspeth for storage.  They was a while ago before they moved though.
