If I were to guess it's to reduce the width of the truck, a lot of times driving in the city we have clearance measured in inches or less.Curious about the recessed lights on the sides, on the Super too and the HazMats and some of the other special rigs, might all be Ferraras, are they manufacturers standard, being that they are "different" especially noticeable on Super ? Or l guess it's because they are on doors, to protect them from damage when swung all the way open.
