Rescue Medics attached to Rescues 2 & 5

Ah, I gotchu... think I'm not overly clued up on the terminology

Have any Rescue Medics been taken off the road for XRs 1 3 and 4, like 48R and 22R being taken off for XR2 and 5?
More then likely, yes, for the bronx I have no idea what unit it couldve been, per the departments unit sheets they didnt have a single rescue, my guess for XR1 was likely 07R, and for XR4 likely 45R

Could it be 12R taken off for the Bronx's one? Or potentially just a new unit entirely?

Could be 12R, I asked a buddy who has his brother at XR3 to see if he was at a unit beforehand to find out
Apprantally he was most recently at 27R, but granted the sheet is from March, so I may be able to update it soon if there was an actual update to it.

Per EMS Buckslip, XR1, 3 and 4 are all official, all have also been given spare designations.

New "RESCUE" Call type has been implemented in the CAD for when XR Units are responding with a FD Rescue, with no related EMS Incident, if it is not a MCI, the XR unit will Apprantally switch to the local borough frequency. If there are patients upon arrival, the "RESCUE" call type is changed to the appropriate MCI or call type.

Upon arrival, if there are patients, and they are the first to arrive from EMS, they will begin Treatment & Triage, and continue T&T until the arrival of additional EMS Resources. The unit will transport when providing care under rescue protocols or other conditions require them to remain as patient care providers. If the XR unit transports and an additional Rescue Unit is required, Citywide will assign the next closest XR unit independent of the Paired Rescue Company.

If the Medical Branch has been established, they will check with the Branch Director to establish the EMS Rescue Branch.

EMS Officers may request the response of an XR Unit independent of its paired rescue when the units specialized training, equipment or protocols would support or enhance operations at an EMS assignment. If a Haz Tac Officer has not already been assigned, the CWD shall dispatch the closest available Haz Tac Officer to respond with the XR Unit.

When two Rescue paramedics are not scheduled for a tour, the unit cannot operation as an XR. In these situations, the single Rescue Paramedic and the vehicle will function as a Rescue paramedic PRU (X Unit) with a non-Rescue partner. If no Rescue Paramedics are scheduled but two non-Rescue Paramedics are available to cover the tour, the unit will operate in a regular type ambulance using a spare designation (I presume one of the station's spare designations.)

I might have to take a peek at your spreadsheet then. The EMS Location Chart I have says the Bx has 2 rescues.
Well my spreadsheet is literally the most recently updated one for ems, at least publically, should have an update soon.
