This happens. I have done the same. You have an old grainy, muted tone photo taken on a low resolution camera 50 years ago. You throw it into AI and the result is a crisp clear contemporary technology looking photo. Same with converting black and white photos to color. Almost always there is something off in the newly altered photo. Big deal. The main point was to help take us back in time with more clarity and resolution of the photo. Keep up the great work with converting these snippets of history. Thank you for sharing

I agree, I love this shot! Even though the lower resolution makes the letters and numbers a bit blurry, it doesn't take away from the photo. It perfectly captures the gritty feel of 1970s New York and the striking presence of Engine 73.
