Friday Evening 9/25 into Sunday Early Morning 9/27

WIND GUSTS 40-50mph for exposed coastal sections of Queen’s and Brooklyn, (Rockaways/JFK area, Jamaica Bay, Comey Island and Brooklyn Water Front)

WIND GUSTS 30-35mph for inland and most of Manhattan and Bronx (City Island maybe higher)

RAIN - 1-2” throughout the weekend. Could be higher depending on how far west the storm moves has it has been moving more south and both models have been showing that.

BEACH EROSION possible for Rockaways, Jacob Riis Park and Coney Island. Surf around 10 feet Friday (more likely in Long Island)


Will post staffing after the meeting more then likely will be 2-3 Teams out for Trees down, possible flooding and monitoring the sea walls.

1800 Hours on September 24th, 2026, Phase A of AUC 159 is in effect until farther notice. Officers on duty shall refer to section 5.2 of AUC 159 with particular emphasize on ordering needed fuel for apparatus and chainsaws.
