Yes it does sound interesting........2 Engines    1 Ladder    1  Squad    and  a  EMS  station

The kitchen table will be crowded.
....I would say the kitchen table would be empty......everybody out getting wet......Hope all stay safe.

G-man asked me to post this. He's been really busy. He says this:

Engine 160 has been so busy he has only seen them twice in three days at the firehouse. All those special SOC water rescue units have been out in the Battlefield the entire time.

The G-man says that he does have electric power but no cell phone service. He did take photos on his cell phone but can't post them because of no service. He has no damage to his house except a bathroom skylight was almost blown off his roof.

The NYPD spent more than two days searching a marshy area off Father Capodanno Boulevard.

The boys, 4 and 2, were with their mother trying to leave the area during the height of the storm Monday when their SUV hit a tree and stalled.

Glenda Moore and her boys got out of the car and went to a nearby home looking for help, CBS 2′s Emily Smith reported.

Moore knocked on a man?s door for help but he said no and turned her away, Smith reported.

Moore was then clinging to life ? hanging on to a railing ? when a surge of water came up and took her 4-year-old son Connor, and her 2-year-old son Brandon ? who came right out of her arms, Smith reported.

When the water receded, the boys were nowhere to be found.

Their bodies were found Thursday morning in a wooded marsh... ..............................................RIP to these 2 youngsters & Prayers for their Family............& F&#k the scumbag who turned them away.

Saw TL18 "Fort Pitt" heading south 10-20 on Hylan Blvd. around 3:25PM today. There was a Brooklyn Ferrara rearmount (either 168 or 169) in the lot @E160 on Tuesday. Couldn't get photos of rigs @E160 because we were battening down the hatches and trying to keep my house in one piece. I had no home or cell phone service but instructed all around me if anything happened just go to the firehouse.

The story is sad enough. I didn't know that some piece of $hit turned them away when a mother asked for help with her two young children. That poor woman. Please Lord just give her the strength to deal with it. There's no words to ease the pain for her.
