It can be housed with E35/14 which is close to the Triboro

Appears they got the money. But if the city was start in time all firehouses have a lot of air rights which is 20+ stories above the firehouses like E54 L4 if you get someone to build the firehouse would be nice. E35 TL14 only thing left on the block they should let them build would be smart firehouse first floor and 2nd and above what they want

The super pumper will probably never be used in Manhattan. It’s more for big junk yards, warehouses, tanker spills anything with a large amount of fire. And the fire that was in Staten Island.

It might be used in Manhattan, but it will never be stored in Manhattan. The two Boros that would be well suited to store the Super Pumper are either Brooklyn or Queens. Some place near the BQE and Newtown Creek

Yeah maybe a few other things but mostly Brooklyn and queens this would be used for and Staten Island if it makes it there

I was detailed often to Satellite 1 when it was located, with the Satellite Officer, a Captain, at the old Quarters of Engine 30, on Spring St., now the FDNY Museum site. Satellite 1, back then responded in a large area on the 2nd alarm. Also, to some 1st alarm, boxes where Piers were located, and a Marine Co/fireboat was assigned. Also, on every 3rd alarm in the city of N.Y., the then 3 Satellites, the Satellite Officer and the Super Pumper and Tender, all responded. It was so busy back then, mid. 1960s to late 1970s, that often the Satellites went from one multiple alarm fire to another. I once responded to 7 multiple alarms in one 15-hour night tour. We really only were put into operation at 2 of those 7 multiple alarms, but we did respond. Lots of excitement but very little sleep sometimes.

OK guys came across a post on Youtube you might find interesting. It was made by Rosenbauer and it details San Francisco's Hose Tender #1. It has a 5500GPM pump and during an extended test it hit 6800GPM. It is certified for 5700GPM. It carries 6000' of 5'" hose and has 4 discharges on the pump panel. You can do a search for Rosenbauer Super Pumper on Youtube to view it.
