looking at google maps do they have a permanent cage across the street?Appears Engine 43 is across the street from the fire house in a cage
It is a parking lot for members.looking at google maps do they have a permanent cage across the street?
cozy house then2/15/23
Engine Company 218 650 Hart St Brooklyn
Is now temporary housed with
Engine Company 222 Battalion 37 32 Ralph Ave Brooklyn
Usually. It seemed that anything after their firehouse they are 3rd due now.May seem like a dumb question but are 1st/2nd/3rd due box assignments adjusted at all when a company is relocated like that or does everyone keep the same boxes?
What’s funny as I was there, I kept hearing sirens and was like what’s going on? Lol TL111 & L112 passed by the firehouse 3 times responding to calls!^^^^ The Triple Deuce FH ( 222 & BN*37) was originally planned to also house 112 but they went from their old Single FH on Madison St to Knickerbocker Ave with 277 to remain more centrally located in "Wood City" where they remain today with 277 in the new FH built on the original Knickerbocker Ave site......thru the years at different times 222/37s Ralph Ave FH has been a temporary Qtrs of 112 ...R*2...277....227...RAC Unit....218 & ?.
Generally they are adjusted .....sometimes it is good ....sometimes it is bad.May seem like a dumb question but are 1st/2nd/3rd due box assignments adjusted at all when a company is relocated like that or does everyone keep the same boxes?
Makes you wonder, if true, who's moving in, Boro Command, Fire Prevention, Marshals, Medical Division Satellite? Like you said Chief, "we will see."Word on the street regarding 287/136/46 sounds like a very different FH from the original.....five stories ....an elevator....kitchen upstairs....etc.....we will see whenever construction starts ?
L136 is back parked inside. Only E287 is in the cageWord on the street regarding 287/136/46 sounds like a very different FH from the original.....five stories ....an elevator....kitchen upstairs....etc.....we will see whenever construction starts ?
