We ALL have our God Given Talents.

For these people their talent was to entertain us. In fact they have been entertaining us for Over 50 years now and they are still GREAT.

These videos were all made within the last year.

A group of four individuals started a singing group called: "The Four Seasons". The group consisted of Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi. and their lead singer, Frankie Vallie.

In 1962 they came out with their first big hit called: "Sherry".

Today, that lead singer is 85 years old and this is part of a show that he did last November, 2018.

He is now 75 years old and still singing his hits for live audiences.

He had his own TV Variety show that ran from 1974-1977.

His name, Tony Orlando, and this song was one of his most famous hits. "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree", which represented our American Military Members returning home.

This brother and sister team entertained us in the 1970s with their own television show. He was only 16 years old and she was only 14.

These days, although I don't think they have reached medicare age yet, they are still performing in front of live audiences. The older brother named Donny, I think is 61 years old, and his younger sister, Marie will soon be 60 years old.

Together they function quite well as they don't only sing, but also can make you laugh.

They still do live shows together. But this was Donny and Marie Osmond two years ago in July, 2017.

Over 50 years ago, this singing group from the Bronx came out with several hit songs. Songs like: "Remember Then", "Life is but a Dream", and "I Believe".

These days, the group and lead singer, Larry Chance, are still doing live shows.

I think at one point Larry Chance had throat cancer, but today he sounds just as good as he did back in 1963. This month, October, 2019, Larry Chance will be 79 years old.

Here is Larry Chance and The Earls singing "live" in August, 2018, one of those famous hit songs called; "I Believe"

She began her singing career at a young age of 17 years old, 70 years ago. YES ..... that's "SEVENTY Years ago". In November of this year she will be 87 years old.

Her singing career began back in 1965 with hit songs like; "Downtown", "I know a Place" in 1965. Followed with "This is my song", and "Don't sleep in the subway" in 1967.

These days she is still doing live shows singing those songs that so many of us more senior members remember.

Her name is Petula Clark and this was her first hit in 1965 when she was only 17 years old.

Put on your thinking cap gents.....who had a big hit with "I Believe" way before Larry Chance & The Earls? Here's a clue..it was released on Columbia Records.

She began her singing career when she was only 14 years old. Now as she just turned 60, she has decided to retired after 46 years of entertaining us. Andy Williams first introduced her, along with her other brothers of the Osmond Family.

On October 14, 2019, her 60th birthday, Marie Osmond retires as her older Osmond Brothers sing a special song.

His first big hit came out in August, 1967.

At the age of 77 years old, he is still performing live shows. In fact he will be performing a live show at the Mohegan Sun Casino's Wolf Den in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Tuesday evening, November 19th.

Some of his hits included: "Lady Willpower", "Young Girl", "Over You", and "This Girl is a Woman now".

His name is Gary Puckett and this was his very first hit song, 52 years ago.

Willy I remember as a ten year old lad Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, during recess in school we had a phonograph and we played all his hits, almost everday...it was my first reckoning and Gateway to rock n roll. In addition to baseball cards I started buying my 45s then, great music back then!

Charlie, "memory master", that question was bugging me so I finally looked it up.

Frankie Lane first came out with the song, "I Believe", back in 1953. It reached Number One on the chart for "18 weeks".

Dan, "Johnny Gage", those little plastic inserts were required to play those old 45s.

All of the songs in this topic; "They Still Got It", first came out on those old 45s.

Maybe you guys remember this one. It's called: "What did you do with your old 45s". The guy that sings this had a few Great Hits of his own.

So listen in as he takes you back to those good ole' 45 record days.

Willy, that is a great song by Bobby Vinton which was never released as a single nor did it get much air play except for an AM station in the 600 dial range that came out of lower Connecticut. This was in the very early 90's. Perhaps Willy, you may know to which station I refer because I'm at a loss.

Charlie, I had no idea that the Old 45s song was only played from one AM station. I can only guess, maybe WICC on 660 AM out of Bridgeport. If it was, I'm sure guys in parts of NYC and certainly Long Island would be able to hear it.

Glad I could help Charlie. It was just a guess.

Now let me add, one of the advantages of living out here at the Ole' Homestead in the Southeastern part of Connecticut is that I am only about 20 minutes from the Mohegan Sun Casino and about 30 minutes from Foxwoods. Of course I could either become a millionaire, or get myself in some big trouble, by rolling the dice or feeding those slot machines a few too many times.

But when it comes to many of those GREAT ENTERTAINERS Who Still Got It, it's a simple thing for me to go see them perform.

Another famous singer of the 1960s will be performing at Mohegan Sun's Wolf Den later this month.

She was the lead singer of a group who "Murrey the K" used to refer to as "his be my baby girls".
That lead singer is now 76 years old and grew up in East Harlem and is still doing live shows.
The group was called "The Ronettes" and were known for their famous songs like: "Be My Baby", "Baby I Love You", "The Best Part of Breaking Up".
Plus a few Christmas tunes like "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree", "Frosty the Snowman".

Ronnie Spector, the lead singer of The Ronettes, is also scheduled to be at the Mohegan Sun's Wolf Den later this month (Nov., 2019).

This is one of her famous hits that came out in July, 1963 - 56 years ago and she's still singing it.
The video is from the last time she was at the Mohegan Sun in 2017.

Where does this station broadcast from ? ......does it reach NYC ?.... is was in a supermarket last Saturday evening & they were playing some good oldies over the loud speakers .....the DJ in-between songs sounded like he was saying "60s at 6" or "60s on 6" ?....i asked a few of the workers if it was a radio station or a tape or what ? they were clueless .
