As a Writer, I must say - I am awed by this Literal/Poetic Masterpiece, which describes the Service and
Sacrifice of our Heroes in such dramatic yet humble prose.

Friends - Two more Heroes have passed! Richard Soovajian NYC DOT & FF Thomas Alioto FDNY have passed from their 9/11 related illnesses and this Holiday Season has been brutal for the 9/11 Community. These men from different backgrounds came together as one along with thousands of others,uniform & non-uniform to aid a Broken City. And sadly so many men & woman like Richard & Thomas are paying the ultimate price. And their families suffer the loss of loved ones almost everyday now. Thomas & Richard you will both join the others on our wall in September and your journey to God's Army of 9/11 Angels is complete!

Why has it been permissable for "Fashion Week" events to be held well within a half-mile of The Site while the names are read for the past several years, but this year, no consideration may be allowed? Could no one in NYC government have had the intelligence to recall an event from a mere 19 years ago?

Disgraceful beyond words.

I('d suggest that every member of The Site get family and friends to write to the Mayor, City Council and all electedes up to the President in PROTEST!

The 9/11 Memorial and Museum should also be flooded with phone calls and emails about both the reading of the names and Tribute in Light. If not for the T2T Foundation, no commemoration would be taking place this year. Disgraceful

as a survivor of 9/11 i find this very insulting to all survivors and victims families.
