I recd this e mail...anybody in the area or knowing anybody there Please pass this on.... During a Pearl Harbor remembrance there will also be a dedication of a 9/11 memorial featuring a piece of the NYC World Trade Center in Boynton Beach Fla.
The date is Dec. 7, 2013 and the time is 10 AM, at Veterans Memorial Park, 411 N. Federal Hwy., Boynton Beach Fla.
All members who can are asked to attend wearing some form of FDNY shirt and/or hat.

Seeing how some FDNY FHs were denied pieces of WTC steel for a FH Memorial this paragraph from the article really sticks out..... www.dnainfo.com/new-york/20140320/financial-district/teen-climbs-top-of-wtc-after-breaking-through-security-papd-says .....He was given a "summons & released" .....yea that really got his attention....a businessman running to practice for the marathon comes around a corner & accidentally steps in wet cement then gets arrested & put through the system losing his watch & ring in the process & still gets a summons the next day....yea they really scared this kid & set an example....Those there to Honor Those Killed including Off Duty Law Enforcementget hassled if carrying .....out of State licensed people carrying get hassled but the kid who pre planned this ...why bother....WTF.
