To make a Bronx Elm Tree Ln address, FDNY units must travel over 1.5 miles thru the Town of Pelham. That's Boston Rd up to Pelhamdale Ave and then under I-95. The border is the middle of the street.
There was a basement fire on the Bronx side of street in Spring 2020. PMFD arrived first but they do not have the manpower to operate effectively. FDNY arrived and operated per procedure and effectively took over.
