L113 Was At E248 For A Little Bit.. Mid 90's I Believe.Usually when I walk my dog, I take her to firehouses. Thankfully due to being in Brooklyn there are a lot within walking distance. Recently I noticed both E*248's and E*250's firehouses are lettered for trucks. Anyone have an idea what companies they were or were supposed to be.

I also forgot E97's Walker House, built to include L32. There was really no need for an aerial ladder in Pelham Gardens so L32 moved back in with E62 after just a few years. But 97s house remained numbered for L32 at least through the 1960s.Five planned Ladders that have not been organized remain:
Ladder 57, planned for E72 in The Bronx.
Ladder 60, planned for E45, pre-empted by Ladder 58
Ladder 139, planned for E289 quarters, pre-empted by Ladder 138, which was planned for E288.
Ladder 141, planned for E292 quarters, which was originally planned as E290.
Ladder 145, planned for E296 quarters, which was originally where E290 is now.
Ladder 171 is the only Ladder currently disbanded.
Was supposed to be L57. Never happened.Eng 72 was originally built with a ladder company planned in the future. Never happened and Sat 2 was moved from E83 to E72 quarters.
I'm not sure if 21 years ago can still be considered recently.Just a thought
With the boom happening in East Harlem and the expected 2nd ave subway, do you think FDNY would add a ladder company to Eng 91.
Ladder 43 moved in with Engine 53 and recently Eng 36 was disbanded.
ENG*306 on 214th Place corner of 41 Ave in Bayside QNS (by the Famous MAGGIE MAYS which is almost visible on the left of the picture ) still has the LAD*152 numbers over the door to this day even though 152 moved from there to Utopia & the LIE back in 1960 .....(BN*53 was also quartered there w / 306 until the new FH w/ then new 326 / 160 opened on Springfield & the LIE in 1984. .....
