Connecticut's Busiest Cities For Fire Activity

Whatever happened to CTFire-EMS? That forum used to do a great breakdown of work in the state.

    FDNY Number Of Companies

If Marble Hill can be dispatched by the Bronx, I don't see any reason Roosevelt Island can't be dispatched by Queens.

Portraits of the Bravest at the All-hands in Queens on Jul 07, 2024. Box 7145.

Funny, the longer I have on the more faces I recognize. I've never been assigned to Queens asides from a few overtime tours and rotations. But I recognize an old partner from Harlem now on E*259 and the medics of 46*Z. Great shots of great guys.

    How do EMS Callsigns work?

The FDNY Operational Reference has a decent list, but somewhat out of date. Regarding the Division assets it depends for example the messenger vans are driven by EMTs while the cars are usually Chiefs.

Mutual Aid to NJ BOX 8039

All good ideas, but the question needs to be asked if they are necessary. I haven't heard of anyone getting lost on mutual aid jobs. The system seems to have worked pretty well for the last hundred and change years.

    Unit Location

I think maybe by a METU. Ironically I sat through this lecture twice at BOT update, got the highest quiz score both times and still don't remember.

    Unit Location

Yeah, that's also out of date. Again with the other four division assets and the METUs. Unfortunately I don't remember the current deployment off the top of my head.

    Unit Location

Those are out of date and don't reflect the creation of Divisions 6 thru 9.
