Cars were getting stuck and removals were being made, tying up many more resources in much more dangerous operations. E*43 creatively solved the situation making it safer to the public and members.
First, I don't think the city could close that house due to how isolated it is and the response times that would entail. Second, I don't think there is the volunteer base available even if it did happen. I hear the Edgewater Volunteers are barely still active.
Very sharp pieces, I have to say that I love seeing how each generation of apparatus builds off the last making them more and more effective, as seen here with the diamond plate cab guard.
