Today i found on coparts.com which DCAS uses to the city's vehicles, they are two brush fire unites for sale. Did they get ruined in sandy or did the new ones come in?

Why does battalion 9 truck have that white communication box on top. It is not seen on any other battalion vehicle in the fdny fleet. Can anyone please enlighten me on this?
