Adding a Squad to the 3rd isn't going to change any of this. All those run numbers you mentioned stem from EMS runs. And I'm not blaming EMS here. These problems stem from the 911 system/people calling for everything, which in turn negatively affect EMS and the fire side.

That sounds fine until there's a medical emergency at a squad's home box and they don't respond.

Don't know the exact date but will say up until a couple two three years ago FDNY did go up to 8th Alarms

Believe they changed it a couple of times - they didn't, then they did, now they don't again
