Funny that the entire 5th alarm assignment are Manhattan engines. Makes perfect geographical sense…just a ground ball from Pitt Street. With today’s traffic not so much.

Since I started doing the monthly Fire Activity Reports in the Citywide Section, I can NOT remember ever when one Boro had so many multiple alarm fires in one month.

One (1) - 4th Alarm

Just 3 short blocks north of E213's qtrs..
I guess E251 was still in Hooper St. with 211; otherwise it's along run from 254th St in Glen Oaks Queens
Gone from that assignment from Brooklyn today are 213, BC36, 212, 215, 251, 209

No Trucks on the 4th? Also no Chiefs on the 4th and 5th back then or where Bk Battalions few and far between?

A little detective work:
E251 was ahead of E209 in response order. That puts them in the Navy Yard. Date is pre-1941.
Response card came from the directory book. Book was issued in 1925 and used until 1929.
Conclusion: This is the response card from 1925.
