Poor E228 turned around on both 2-2 and 3-3 because relocators were assigned instead. How the times have changed. The trend continues. I don't see the reasoning for leaving the 'first-due' neighborhoods with a large gap in services over and over when they transmit more alarms or special call units.

I agree.
Wonder how close were the relocators were when special called to fire. Considering time of day and change of tour Companies like L124, 102 - E 216,236 may not be as close as regularly assigned Companies on multiple alarms. Plus they may not be familiar with response and streets. Something to consider in assignments.
Maybe not at this fire as time line suggest relocating companies had ample time to be AQ but something to consider.
