When I was an auxiliary riding with E 248 and B 41 (1964 to 1973), the auxiliary at L 157 was Richie Sheirer who became a dispatcher and was head of OEM on 9/11.
Richie Passed away several years ago. I worked at the Brooklyn CO when he was assigned. We all assisted in training. Great times and good memories. At least one of his sons is OTJ now or might be retired by now. No idea where is assigned, last I knew, years ago he was assigned to Ladder 148.
