307 & 154 were at a manhole fire, other units were cut loose by the 46 as this box came in. 291 acting 307 at the time probably on the box.

new building. Fire Ireland and I visited R4 one day during our October pilgrimage 2 years ago and the members said it was supposed to be a hotel but would likely turn into low rent SRO.

And, there is a motel directly across Queens Blvd. that leaves something to be desired. I could relate a story or two from that joint during my EMS time but since this is a family oriented site I'll refrain.

All the QB motels on either side of 292/R*4 for several blocks either way are very sketchy.....the big pan am hotel by the Elks which was built for the '64 worlds Fair & used by many visitors from around the world for years was turned into a homeless shelter a few years ago by wilhelm & Co. & has impacted the local bars & restaurants.

Negative , a new hotel is stil being built on the exp 4 side of their quarters ...the building in that pic is a new multi dwelling , and yes , it used to be a auto glass repair shop
