Never seen an ad on my phone while on the site or on my pc.

I should e so lucky, ads for PDF manuals, activate this account, etc. Understand you need revenue to keep it going but it has gone from bad to worse.

Here’s what worked for me on my IPhone. Go to SETTINGS, scroll down and click on APPS, scroll down and click on your browser (for me it’s Safari). Then “turn on” Block Pop-Ups. There are still ads, but not those annoying pop-ups that cover the entire screen with no way to escape.
