Brooklyn/Queens Responses

I heard Brooklyn dispatch 3E, 2L, 1BC to smoke in the building in Queens. Granted some of the Queens companies may have been tied up. But does anyone know if there are border boxes in Brooklyn or Queens where the whole regular assignment comes from the other borough?

Queens 4000 numbered boxes along Wycoff Ave. from Halsey St. to Putnam Ave. and a few St. Nicholas Ave. boxes near Myrtle Ave.
have all original first alarm units responding from Brooklyn. Ladder 140 would be fast truck on some of those boxes and the first Queens unit to respond.

Great guys, thanks for that! There’s always some nook or cranny in the city that pops up and surprises me. I think my favorite is the minuscule area of the Bronx where you have to go into New Rochelle to Pelham to get there!

To just add, R4 gets greenpoint BK boxes I believe. 238/106 respond into 258/115’s first due area of Long Island city, QNS and 258/115 come into Greenpoint too. Same with 259/128 crossing the creek into BK. Think L128 is FAST to a few boxes in BK.

Thank you ALL for this information.

Learned a lot of facts right here about the FDNY that I never know.

E206 also has some 1st due boxes in Queens as well as responds to 291/140 first due area.

Just a short while ago E271, E277, E218, L124, L112 and the 28 Bn. responded to a Queens box at Myrtle Avenue & Palmetto Street for "smoke from the CVS." As you know that whole 1st alarm assignment is Brooklyn companies.
Charlie, I blieve technically the physical box is located in Brooklyn on Palmetto Street before Myrtle, the Queens Brooklyn boundary runs through that intersection, but like you said, its a Queens Box.

I thought that also Dan however Brooklyn announced it as a Queens box and Queens announced it as a Queens box. But, as you and I know, take three steps in another direction and one foot is in Bklyn. and the other in Qns. Thanks Dan and be well my friend.
