"guitarman314", aka Tom E., reported in Manhattan All Hands 10-77 - Box 0223 (1/11/20) reply # 6, that he had purchased the collectors book "Assignments to Duty for the Borough of Manhattan book - dated January 1, 1925".

He recently was the successful bidder on e-bay for that item.

I talked with Tom the other day and it was amazing to hear how things were back in those days.

Things like:
The assignment of Water Tower Companies to jobs.
FDNYs Double companies long before the busy FDNY War Years two section companies.

Needless to say, he seemed very pleased with this collectors book that he purchased on e-bay.
