Going back to the years 2018, 2019, I started posting a thread in the Citywide Section called:
"Beyond the Fires - 2018"
"Beyond the Fires - 2019"
In those threads I was going back every three months to list serious incidents that the FDNY was involved in such as building collapse, water rescue, serious car accidents, high angle rope rescues, subway incidents, etc. giving a brief description of each.
(See: "Beyond the Fires - 2019" as an example in the Citywide listings of topics)
Unfortunately, I don't do that anymore. But it is certainly worth noting on this site.
If any of our members would be interested in posting such incidents on a monthly or even a quarterly basis - I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by the members here.
Let me also add a Big Thank You to ALL the Members here who take the time to post these incidents, including addresses, box numbers, rundowns, etc.
In addition, it would be giving credit to the companies that work at these very tough and dangerous incidents.
Is there a member who might like to list these types of incidents on a regular basis starting with a new topic in Citywide called; "Beyond the Fires - 2021" ?
