Whenever there is a multiple alarm transmitted, I go back to the time of call

Also, Bronx 4/29, Box 4148, was originally listed as a 2nd alarm, but then the heading was changed to a 3rd alarm.
That was excellent.

I usually try to read all of the post in each multiple alarm so the correct details can be given

I would also like to THANK "raybrag" for his excellent coverage as listed in "Beyond the Fires".
And "signal 73" on his first due company listing for each multiple citywide.

As the owner and adminstrator, Retired Capt John Bendick, "jbendick", of this website once told me:
"TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK".
I never forgot that, whether it was fighting a fire or contributing to this web site.
If it wasn't for so many of you, we wouldn't be here reading these stats.
So "THANK YOU ALL"

2022 YTD totals by boro

Brooklyn 48
Bronx 35
Queens 27
Manhattan 10
Staten Island 4

All boros FDNY YTD 124 greater alarms

FDNY 2022 multiple alarm rate for Jan-Jul has been approx. 4.4 extra alarms per week.

SI total is about half what they have had the past few years (due to rainy brush fire seasons?).

In 2021, there were 120 FDNY multiples for the same period.

(Per Herb's data - thank you Herb.

As each month comes to a close, usually a day or two before, I begin to get the total count for all of the All Hands and Multiple Alarm Fires throughout the city.

BUT - without the many contributors of this web site who provide us with so many EXCELLENT Rundowns, Photos, Videos, etc., the "Citywide Monthly Fire Activity Report" would NOT BE POSSIBLE.
Generally speaking, I think we have 24/7 coverage - every single day of the year.

Of course, many of us depend on the "online radio broadcast" that is provided to us for those who live outside of the FDNY Radio Transmit area.

Faithfully, "Signal 73" also provides us with the first due engine and ladder company assigned to each multiple alarm fire.

Then we have "raybrag", who took over providing us with "Beyond The Fires" in a separate topic on this site.
Each incident he writes about is a serious event that the FDNY has responded to, whether it be a serious motor vehicle accident, a water rescue or a high angle rope rescue, etc.
These are headline Stories in themselves.
"I think we would AGREE that "raybrag" does a Great Job in telling the stories of each incident.
THANK YOU SIR.

Of course, just as with the Monthly Fire Activity Report, "It is YOU, the members here, that make it all possible as well", and WE THANK YOU FOR THAT.

As our friend "jbendick", told me many years ago and I never forgot it.
Whether it is fighting a fire, performing a serious rescue, a hospital staff performing surgery, and YES, even providing us with Our Monthly Activity List;

"TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK".
