A Houston firefighter was rushed to a hospital after he suffered a medical emergency on Sunday.

Out of surgery late last night. Present status unknown.

He joined HFD in 1996. Used to work at Station 9 on Hogan St. north of downtown. Still riding the ambulance as a paramedic thirty years later.
