National Fallen Firefighter Weekend

Tried to stop and visit the Memorial in mid-April while passing through Emmitsburg, MD. “Closed due to DHS funding.”
 
BC Dennis Collopy, Battalion 11, will always be remembered as Capt. Collopy, Ladder 26, thee best officer I ever worked with in my 26 year FDNY career, I miss him every day ! Hey Cap, Abbondanza !
