Yep, and KME seemed to start that.Very sharp pieces, I have to say that I love seeing how each generation of apparatus builds off the last making them more and more effective, as seen here with the diamond plate cab guard.
1 of the very few things they did good!Yep, and KME seemed to start that.
So when should we expect to see more pumped coming in?
Thanks for the update. They missed a pretty good job today.E81 missed the 2nd Alarm today. They were transferring stuff into the New Rig

The chevrons are now in FDNY.New Squad 8 and what appears to be new 238 on Sherman and Dykman a little while ago!
Interesting how they are white and red on R*1, but yellow and red on SQ*8The chevrons are now in FDNY.
When does it go in service?
NFPA specifies what are acceptable colors for the stripes. Supposedly, the next edition will allow a wider variety of colors as long as they contrast each other. The Sq-8 style appear to be NFPA compliant. The Rescue 1 version is not. Either way, can't fault the added layer of safety.Interesting how they are white and red on R*1, but yellow and red on SQ*8
