I hear ya. I'm not going to start , we could be here until tomorrow, but l dont no why is not I/S yet... As of today Saturday July 3rd, 2021 the last pumper accepted by FDNY was E 290

After 81 is delivered there should be a little break for engines. Then E92 and the start of the 2009 rigs. TL50 is next they should be getting it once they finish training. They haven’t trained on it yet.

NFPA specifies what are acceptable colors for the stripes. Supposedly, the next edition will allow a wider variety of colors as long as they contrast each other. The Sq-8 style appear to be NFPA compliant. The Rescue 1 version is not. Either way, can't fault the added layer of safety.
