They do not come lettered anymore. All lettering is applied locally now.

Does anyone have the Specs of the new FDNY Seagrave Cabs and also are they getting any Seagrave Ladders? I was wondering what size cabs they are using for them?

Seagrave won the bid for the aerials. There was the bid specifications in another thread.

The other night l went out to have dinner with my buddy ( My Rabbi ).... A found out that Izzy no longer is in the print shop , he retired. When a girl one night went thru a traffic light she hit the front and side. Izzy took pics of the rig before going to the body shop. When it came back he put all new numbers and stripping. He also did the 9- 11-01 that was above the grill.

He also told me a few years ago there was a woman that worked there putting on all the doodads since it came in naked

Total ladders is 55 I believe.
Engines all 2008, 2009 and 2010 will be replaced. Next batch will be 2013 which are not ordered yet….

Thanks skylerfire, but what I was trying to find out was the breakdown of rearmounts per year on the total of 55.

Just engines getting the diamond plate above the bumper? Is it there to protect the paint since there's a hookup on the bumper?
