Even though the plaque says, "50 YEARS", apparently it should actually read "60 Years" (Sixty Years) of Unwavering Commitment, Dedication and Passion to the FDNY of E-319 and the Community of Middle Village.
This according to "AuxWarYearsCapt" - Doug M.

He also made the trip up to NYC this past week to stop by the firehouse, I think it was 10/9 - 10/14/25.
Doug now living in the Sunshine State.
 
It is with regret that I advise the membership here that the son of Frank D (fdce54) has passed away on New Years Eve December 31, 2025.

Frank had been caring for his son for about a year and a half after his son suffered a very serious stroke.

His son was 45 years old and would have been 46 on January 6th

I learned of Franks son passing from two members here and then I called Frank to find out how he was doing.
Frank told me that his ex-wife (son's mother) and I think his daughter and another son was with him at the time.

If I hear anything on services for his son, I will pass it on.
Or if there is any way we can help.

When I talked to Frank, he told me it would be okay to pass this on to the members here.
