News of Members

I am looking for a member whose username was "fdny1075k".
He hasn't been on this site since July 2019.

Prior to that date he was very active on this site posting jobs in the Bridgeport, Ct area.
I believe he lived in Trumbull, Ct at the time and was really into the fire service.

We used to talk about jobs all the time.

This article posted made me think of him

His goal was to become a career firefighter, and I believe he is now on the job in Waterbury, Ct one of the busiest fire departments in the state.
He might be assigned to Truck 1/Ladder 1.

If anybody can reach him ask him to send me a private message on here addressed to Willy D (nfd2004).

Thank you
Bill Dennis, aka Willy D

On the subject of members we haven't heard from in a while, does anyone know how Mack is doing. He was a frequent contributor on this site and a wealth of knowledge. Any information would be appreciated and if anyone has contact with him, please send him my regards.

Thank you for all the good wishes above, on my 80th (Can't believe it) birthday. I am still learning and still love the brotherhood of firefighters.
My oldest, grandson works is a firefighter in a busy Engine in the Philadelphia Fire Dept., and he also works for the Underwriters Laboratory at their facility near the Philadelphia Airport, as an Engineering consultant. I always try to keep current and my close relationship with him helps. I am also blessed by the great people on NYCFire.net. that teach me and help me to examine what is going on in the fire service.
Thank You Brothers. Captain Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 26 retired
