House watch is very small! Enough for 1 person 5x5 room about. Room behind with a door where the watch man can sleep enough for a bed! Kitchen is probably the size for a single engine company (don’t all get up at once) It’s 16 trailers together (small trailers) I would say 4 of them is just for the gear. The officers and chiefs have their own rooms, firefighters all together, they have a room just for weight room. They have no drinking water have to bring bottled. So far no hot water lukewarm if that (fun for showering) A lot of work still has to be done. E287 is the EMS supply for the battalion, they had to add a shed just for that outside. They are supposed to add a covering from the trailers to the rigs so they don’t get wet on there way to the rigs and so it covers the battalions gig. They have had issues with traffic already and their response area did stay the same for now. Inside the tent there is portable heaters but not working so well yet. There is no water for them to wash the rigs, no fuel so they will have to go to 289 to fill up. 5 years later maybe they will see a nice 5 story firehouse….Interested to see what it looks like inside the trailers....Hows the kitchen/tv room setup, is there a housewatch, where are they putting all the gear being that they all walked out of the trailers geared up already. I'd imagine its going to be a rough couple years for the eagles
definitely not fun.. lol.. but, hopefully it will all be worth it.. and like you said they might have a new firehouse.House watch is very small! Enough for 1 person 5x5 room about.
