Indeed a very tight/congested area on Hicks Street. Like mentioned earlier BK HTS blocks are tight and narrow, they’re among the oldest in Brooklyn. Hence the need for L118 tiller.
From the north n south of 118s qtrs n surrounding area 224 qtrs for sure tight n parking conditions in area doesn't help alot of over turning for chauff's to make the block been a detail chauf there couple times

They don’t give them temporary tents anymore?

Just a update on E287/L136 firehouse. From good source, they have to knock down whole firehouse and build new one 4-5 years…. They are in the works to find somewhere to put E287 L136 and BC46…. As of now possible Ladder going to E324, Engine going to 319 and BC to E289….. unknown when still in plans and could change….

If they had room another option would be S288 / HazMat 1 since they are right down the line off Grand Ave. Easy ride into their first due response area.

They are still looking into other options. The good thing was with Squad and Rescue being on the other side was technically 2 trucks for fire wise.

No room at SQ288 and HM with both of there 2nd pieces. I honestly don’t think they will be putting a rig in a tent for 5 years

A new FH will eventually be built on the original site but a "close by" temporary location is still under investigation (not an existing FH)....in the meantime Company Offices & the personnel will be in the original FH & E & T Rigs in the street.
