CFD Aerial Tower 8. 135' rear mount E-One aerial with a pre-piped waterway. Saw on another site that the apparatus struck a viaduct causing major damage to the ladder. Might have to go back to Ocala for replacement of the aerial device.

As you mentioned Chiefs wear white, Firefighters, Lieutenants and Captains wear yellow, officers and firefighters assigned to Rescue 1 wear black. Fire Marshals (investigators) wear white construction type helmets, EMS personnel wear blue and Second Alarmers, the volunteer rehab service, wears red.

There was work all over the city last night and another two alarm store fire this morning. A lot of the work last night was in West Philadelphia (6th, 7th and 11th Battalions). Best place to follow is on Philadelphia Second Alarmers Facebook Page.

A whole lot of fire power on Water Tower 6.  Besides the water tower itself those two mounted monitors look like they should be on a Fireboat.

In the very near future (Promotions are this Thursday, 12/20) The PFD will be reactivating Division 3, Battalion 5 and Battalion 6.  Division 3 and Battalion 6 have been out of service since 1983.  Battalion 5 has been out of service since 1993. Division 1 will remain at Squad 47 in Grays Ferry...

I came across a three part series INSIDE LONDON FIRE BRIGADE on you tube.  Each episode is about 45 minutes.  I found it to be an interesting look at the operation of the LFB.  Had to be done quite recently because there is a lot of Grenfell Tower coverage.

There is a major Amtrak accident on the Northeast Corridor in Philadelphia.  Mass casualty incident and presently at 3 Alarms.  Vicinity of Frankford Avenue & Wheatsheaf Lane in Lower Northeast section of the city. Engine 7, Ladder 10, Battalion 10 first due.

Almost positive the trailer on that one is an American LaFrance.

Philadelphia lost a female firefighter early this morning in a cellar fire.  The job was in the West Oak Lane section ( Battalion 2 ) on the 1600 Block of Middleton Street.
