So the assignment here includes E's 41,42, 45, 46, and 48. That is exactly what it would have been 140 years ago, on Christmas Day, 1883, instead of 2023.
NW corner of 200th Street and the Concourse...
Not familiar with FIREWIRE but obviously it posted the 1st due engine/truck (79/37) if you know that district.
5 story walkup...I know 'cause I delivered packages from Carmine's Meat Market to that building as a kid...no elevator.
75/33...
Just about all of the normal 1st alarm companies (except L38) were operating at 7-5 3506, just a handful of blocks away up on the Concourse at 198th. That incident came in shortly before 3379. Any relocators had not arrived in the area yet so normal 2d/3d Alarm units had to fill in.
It is a Walker type and I am wondering the same thing. I assume some firm did the initial design and it was just duplicated thereafter. Thanks for getting back on this.
Looking for some help. Anyone on here have any info on who the design architects were for the fire houses of Engine 63 (single house on White Plains Rd), E64 and L47 on Castle Hill Ave, and Squad 61 on Williamsbridge Rd?
We know you meant 79 not 49...if this incident happened on Halloween we might all be wondering.
81 obviously unavailable.
Thanks for the report and rundown.

Box 3375 is listed as "Crotona Ave 200' North of Fordham Rd". That is the approximate location of the old Fordham Hospital, long since gone.
What is now the primary entrance to the Botanical Gardens is relatively new (1970s?). Its published address is 2900 Southern Blvd. It is about a quarter...
I mis-interpreted E38 rather than L38. My bad. You are correct. Notice L39 assigned before Ls 38 and 33, which leads me to believe that there was something more than just a 10-99 going on down in Fordham. It jumbled the usual response patterns to Norwood.
