Ladder 163 is a Tower Ladder and Ladder 165 already has a new Ferrara Rearmount, maybe 167 or 169? for new rig

167 is a 2006 not due for a new rig and 169 has one already.

im hearing the first ferrara rearmount made ladder 137 of rockaway park queens may be done as it was broken down and under hurricane surge water from sandy!

They are going to be stepping up the training on the remounts that they have received. They need to get the seavraves they are replacing into service as spares to replace the ones damaged during the storm.

"Stepping up training"?  How do you mean?  For the LCC, the rigs operation is fairly similar.

i been hearing the city lost 20 or so rigs due to flood waters the night of the hurricane inthe rockaways

Instead of sending the companies to the rock over the next few months they came to qtrs today, tomorrow and monday, to try and hit as many people they can so they can get it in service.  It's really a familiarization.

Ah, that makes more sense.  It was a big waste of time bringing the company to the rock for a month while the rig just sat there unused.

While it sits at the Rock they are also doing their tests so they can accept it from Ferrara. Now that is being pushed through as well which means it might not properly be tested. Hopefully they dont miss anything.  Would suck to give up our rig for the new one then that breaks, giving us a spare worse then our seagrave.
