do they really? doesn't make much sense
Yes for the for seeable future. If I'm not.mistaken, 260 used to be a foam unit. So the powers that be sent it to 238 when they finally decided 260 would get the SP, and found out the floors wouldn't support the added weight of the SP. So they house the foam unit at 260 and the SP at 238. Eventually 260 is supposed to get there floors redone so they can swap the foam unit and the SP permanently. Its.not ideal by any stretch of the imagination.

Something I justice noticed. If I'm not mistaken, both 238 and foam 238 and 260 and SP 1 were assigned. Did 238 transport the SP since it's in their bldg, and 260 transport the foam rig, and swap onscene, or did they pass each other getting their assigned 2nd piece? I know what I would suggest, but.......

For some reason, 238 isn't even one of the backups for SP1 yet they put it at their quarters, granted they do have the extra space in the bay but I think it would make more sense to cage it either outside 260 or whoever their backup is

From 1 of flushingboys photos it looks like the leveling cylinders on the bucket either froze or failed. The bucket was sitting at a down angle when the boom was about bedded. Bucket should.have been level at that point.

No mention of the Super Pumper in operation?
I wonder why they chose to use the standard foam operation with the foam tankers rather than use the Super Pumper since it was on the scene ?

again since no one understands how the super pumper works. It’s not meant to collapse a whole building. It needs like 3 sources. If the fire is in the middle of queens with no water ways it’s gonna take a long time to setup to get to full pressure! Talking like bringing water off 2 large mains. More than likely it’s gonna be used near a large body of water so a marine unit can feed into it!

Most likely used for ship fires?
