ENG*91-2 had a new one in '69.....ENG*242 had one which became the original Rig when SQ*1 was re organized in BKLYN in December 1977.nfd2004 said:68jk09 said:FORMER FIRE SALVAGE 4 THEN & NOW..... scroll through article.... https://ltvsquad.com/2015/09/10/flushing-airport-fire-salvage-and-the-only-nyc-fire-rig-to-ever-be-abandoned/?fbclid=IwAR1o7d6z4F4Ynu92bOZ5moG7wM_DwmWGwL0TRtNRxXWVYP_7DGGVj5wyLaM
I believe Engine Co 38 also had a similar rig (as Eng 305).
I think Enging 38 later became Salvage 3, operating out of the former quarters of Engine Co 48 on Webster Ave.
When Salvage 3 was closed and the firehouse was vacant, I believe it was the scene of Two separate Second Alarm fires.
