Water Tower 3:

Ladder 21 received a new 1890 water tower. It was designed by Kansas City Fire Chief George C. Hale, a fire equipment inventor. It had a 55 foot telescopic mast and was hydraulically raised. It was pulled by 3 horses. It was Ladder 21's alternate apparatus. Water Tower 3 was located at Ladder 21 until 1901.
