True there were other's.... but the ones i mentioned were documented in WNYF....one above that you mentioned was actually built 215..238..106 & BN*36 except before completion 215 was disbanded but their Numbers were in place on the outside of New FH & of course BN*36 did move to the new house but was disbanded not long after.

There were plans for Engines 233 and 252 and a new truck with the 17 Division. The drawing was at the academy for several years.

The firehouse for E5 & L3 was supposed to be built at  Ave. A and E.11St.
There was another I remember for E228 & L114 supposed to be built between 2nd Ave. and 4th Ave.,40th St. to 44th St.  That never happened.
L114 was built on 4th Ave. between 51 St. and 52nd St. with E201 and the 40Batt.

most of the other ones are mentioned already.

I remember when I worked in the neighborhood, passing by just before E71/L55 firehouse opened, I saw that it was lettered for E41/E71/L55.

"22 and 44 actually built with that plan but not enacted". It's too bad that 22's qtrs. were not built to house 44. A few months after it opened Sq. 9 was organized. Very tight qtrs. for 3 companies.

Perhaps in retrospect, it was better that so many of those double engine houses never occurred.  As the runs started to drop off, the bean counters would have found those houses as ripe targets for their pencils and erasers!

Yes, other than 264/328, any double engine house is a sure target and even 264/328 was mentioned in the last projected "Doomsday" cuts that thankfully, didn't come to fruition.

And then there's Bridgeport.  They built a new house for E3/L3 and E 4.  The brains decided to close one company; they closed L3 and left the two engines that are both still there today.  Try to figure that one out.

Engs 246-327  and L169  on East 23rd St off Voorhies Ave. until about 1959 or 60

Engs 245-326 And L161 & the 43 Bn.  West 8th St. Coney Island  I think that was gone early 50's

SI - Engine 155/Ladder 78/Rescue 5 occupied same firehouse when Rescue 5 was put into service about 1948 until VN Bridge was opened in early 1960s and rescue 5 was deactivated.

Rescue 5 was later reorganized at Engine 160.

The squad companies formed for manpower during wartime and during FDNY "War Years" occupied firehouses with engine and truck companies so there were many firehouses with three companies.  The Super Pumper and Super Tender shared quarters with an engine and truck.  Maybe a few water tower companies were third companies in a few firehouses before being deactivated in the 1950's.

Also - there were many 2 section engine and 2 section truck companies in FDNY history.  Double section companies frequently meant 3 companies sharing quarters.

Pitt Street firehouse was originally built for engine, truck, squad and chief.  Firehouse had lettering for companies but the squad was disbanded to form a needed engine company, I believe in the Bronx.

I believe there were some plans to put Satellite 1 and the Satellite Officer in with 17/18 as well.  That was before the Satellites were paired with engine companies.

Squad 5 never got to Pitt Street from E Broadway.  They were moved to Engine 41 in the The Bronx about one month after Pitt St opened.
