Without police officers like this risking their lives for us, a lot of us could be the one's lying in a coma from a bullet wound instead.

I am very thankful for ALL the police officers who are out there every day and night, NOT really knowing if they could be next. Or their families home wondering the same thing too.

Damn Shame ! My Paternal Grandfather Bernard 'Barney' Walsh Retired as an NYPD Lt., back when the 6-3 Pct.
on Brooklyn Ave. was known as the 7-3. ('40's & 50's).

Just to add, at a Memorial for Detective Miosotis Familia, at the 46th pct on Ryer Ave (Bronx), that street was renamed in her honor.

Detective Familia was killed last year only because she worn a NYPD uniform.
