The original lead singer of the group called "The Earls", his name Larry Chance.
Today Larry Chance (real name - Larry Figueiredo) is 79 years old.

Thanks Jack "JOR176".

Here is a song that Larry Chance (from the Bronx) and The Earls made famous.

Noel Scott Engel who changed his name to Scott Walker, one of the "Walker Brothers" who had a hit in 1966 with "The Sun Ain't Gonna' Shine Anymore" passed away on Friday 3/22/19 at 76 years of age. Incidentally, that song was first recorded and released by Frankie Valli without the Four Seasons.

Dan, when the guys here play it, you probably won't be the only one who turns it up and hits replay.

But, as one of our newer members to this site, "JohnnyGage" - "this one's for you".

Following the 1950s GREAT DOO WOP Music, the 1960s brought in more great music.

One such group was know as "The Supremes". A Girl group of singers that led the charts with such songs as; "Baby Love", "Come See About Me", "You Can't Hurry Love", "Where Did Our Love Go".

But in 1970, the lead singer, Diana Ross departed from the Supremes and went on her own.

Later in 1988, "The Supremes" were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Today, that lead singer, Diana Ross just turned 74 years old on March 26th and she is still out there singing some of those hits. She has five children and five grandchildren. Recently this was her singing at one of those shows. In this video she tells how she has been blessed and how she enjoys singing. She tells how most of her family works as care givers, doctors, nurses, ministers.

Happy Belated 75th Birthday to Diana Ross on March 26th. The lead singer of the Supremes.
