Unfortunately these days Louisville Metro PD is understaffed by about 300 officers in between that and all of the homicides occurring here there are not sufficient police resources available to do that.
Yes but if the requirements of the same difference would it make if somebody came from out of state with the proper certifications? Are the requirements for the Florida training that much different?
I used 1 of those many times back in the day, and you certainly right about them clicking up with tar from roofs. Didn't realize that the USAR teams carry them!
By looking at the requirements they are eliminating anybody who's not already a firefighter in Florida. Considering you have to have all of the qualifications from Florida and they want except out-of-state qualifications. They certainly are cutting out a lot of potential applicants.
I certainly agree about the red interior, it certainly makes it look brighter inside. This truck and one that was posted the other day just don't look like they have enough space for a thousand gallon tank. I'm sure they do put they certainly don't look it.
I saw a rig up several years ago, I'm not sure on what website, that had a stretcher and EMS equipment in the back half of the cab where the crew seating is in most rigs. I forget exactly what the department was but I believe it was in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
By looking at the truck pictures it doesn't look like it's got enough room for a 1000 gallon tank compared to other 1000 gallon trucks I have been around.
